You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from Warsaw-Aparts Sokratesa when I first booked it – I mean, it’s tucked away in Bielany, which honestly isn’t where most tourists end up. But sometimes being off the beaten path is exactly what you need. The building sits on this quiet residential street where you’ll hear birds in the morning instead of trams clattering by, and there’s something really refreshing about that after a few days in the city center. Getting there is actually pretty straightforward – the M1 metro line runs right through Bielany, so you’re not completely cut off from everything, though I’d definitely recommend grabbing groceries at the Żabka down the street because dinner delivery options are… well, let’s just say you’ll want to plan ahead.

The apartments themselves surprised me in the best way. I stayed in what I think was their standard one-bedroom setup, and honestly, it felt more like crashing at a friend’s place than staying in typical hotel accommodation. The kitchen was properly equipped (not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation), which saved me a fortune since Warsaw restaurants can add up quickly. The bed was comfortable enough that I actually slept past my alarm – something that rarely happens when I’m traveling. What really got me though was how quiet it was at night. You’re surrounded by these residential blocks where families actually live, so once evening hits, everything just settles down naturally. No drunk tourists stumbling around at 3 AM, no constant traffic noise. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly for my work calls, and there’s decent natural light if you’re someone who needs to get things done during the day.

I’ll be honest, the location takes some getting used to if you’re the type who wants to walk everywhere. You’re definitely going to be using public transport or ride-sharing to get to Old Town or the main shopping areas – it’s not a quick stroll. But here’s the thing: that 9.2 rating makes total sense once you settle in. The value is incredible for what you get, especially compared to those cramped hotel rooms in Śródmieście that cost twice as much. The staff actually seemed to care about making sure everything worked properly, and when my shower had some temperature issues on the second day, someone came up within an hour to sort it out. Plus, being in a real neighborhood means you get to see how Warsaw actually functions – there’s a lovely little park nearby where locals walk their dogs, and the whole area has this lived-in feeling that tourist zones just can’t replicate. If you’re planning to spend most of your time exploring the city anyway and just want a comfortable, affordable base that feels like home, this place delivers exactly that.

  Good new apartments, overall great.
  
  What could be improved: Loud at day – apartments are on the first floor and on the ground floor below there is a grocery store and a cafe. The shower looks modern but not the best solution to not put a door – water easily gets out and floods the bathroom. So you need to stand at a specific angle to avoid water leaking from the shower.

  Well priced, relatively new and decently equipped apartment in Bielany, short walking distance to metro station, tram stops and local shopping mall, ca 40 min drive from Modlin airport. Perfect for a small family, with a balcony, in somewhat quiet and secured part of the building (first floor, with a lift). Communicative host. All necessary amenities were provided and working. The apartment was generally clean and tidy

  The apartment is super clean. All you need you can find there – ironing board, iron, kitchen accessories. Silent apartment, no noise from neighbors. Easy access to the public transport. Local bakery with incredible bread nearby.

  Almost evering was great. From start to end. FLat in good shape and there was clean, not mess. Good view from Balcony. Easy check-in. Accessability to flat assets. Television is advantage there.
  
  What could be improved: There 3 things, but small ones. The toilet could be in better shape. At the beginning there was a little confused with navigation (but it is not Owner's fault), coz it is new building and navi couldn t get it and the last one – it is quite far to M1 by foot (but it is also not Owner's fault).

  Very cozy, modern apartment, actually newly build, with an underground parking, equipped with everything you need for comfortable stay. Small supermarket in the ground floor of the building. Very helpful and communicative host who guides you through remote check in and answers all your questions. Approximately 2 km away there is a local catering bar with amazing home made food – "Obiadkowo". Every day different menu. This apartment and location didn't deserve any dislikes, I highly recommend to stay here.
