Okay, so I’ve stayed at this place twice now – once in summer and again last month – and honestly, it’s become my go-to spot in Warsaw. The apartment is tucked away on Chmielna 73C, which if you know Warsaw at all, puts you right in that sweet spot where you’re close to everything but not drowning in tourist chaos. I mean, you’re literally a three-minute walk from the main shopping drag on Marszałkowska, but the street itself is surprisingly quiet at night. The building looks pretty standard from the outside – nothing fancy, just that typical Warsaw mix of old and renovated – but once you get inside, the 50 square meters are laid out really well. The kitchen actually has counter space (shocking, I know) and the living area doesn’t feel cramped even when you’ve got luggage everywhere.

What I really appreciate about this place is how it feels like someone actually lives there, you know? There are proper curtains that block out the morning light, the shower has decent water pressure, and – this might sound weird – but the wifi reaches every corner of the apartment, including the bathroom. The bed is comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up with a sore back, which honestly can’t be said for a lot of places in this price range. The neighborhood vibe is pretty great too – there’s this little bakery around the corner on Żelazna that opens early if you’re an early riser, and you’ve got the Rondo ONZ metro station about a seven-minute walk away. During rush hour it gets a bit hectic around there, but if you’re heading out to explore during normal tourist hours, it’s perfect.

I will say, the check-in process is all done remotely through Rentujemy, so don’t expect someone to greet you at the door – they send you codes and instructions via email, which worked fine for me but might stress out less tech-savvy travelers. The building entrance can be a little tricky to find the first time (it’s sort of tucked between two shops), and there’s no elevator, so if you’re on a higher floor with heavy bags, well… consider it your Warsaw workout. The area gets pretty lively on weekend nights – you’re close to some popular bars and restaurants – but the windows do a decent job keeping the noise manageable. Actually, I kind of enjoyed hearing the city buzz; it reminded me I was right in the heart of things. For the money and that 9.3 rating, it really delivers on being a solid base for exploring Warsaw without feeling like you’re staying in some sterile hotel room.

  Lokalizacja super – lepiej nie można. Zamknięty skwer wewnątrz budynku.

  What could be improved: Niestety kanapa sprawia ogromne problemy. Elementy nie są odpowiednio złożone przez co wysuwana szuflada odjeżdża co chwilę. Poddałem się po kilku próbach wsunięcia na prowadnice i niestety wpływa to na komfort.
  
  Zmywarka cieknie pozostawiając sporą plamę wody na podłodze ale to nie jest duży problem.
