Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Wawabed Aparthotel, you immediately get that “this is different” feeling — and I mean that in the best way. It’s tucked away on Raduńska Street in the Bielany district, which honestly feels like discovering a little secret in Warsaw. The whole vibe is relaxed and residential, nothing like those sterile chain hotels downtown. You know what struck me first? How quiet it was, even though you’re still well-connected to everything that matters in the city.
The Neighborhood Advantage
Bielany is one of those areas that locals love but tourists often miss — which works in your favor, actually. You’re away from the tourist crowds but still close enough to hop on public transport and be in the Old Town within 20 minutes. There’s something refreshing about staying where real Varsovians live, with proper grocery stores and neighborhood cafes nearby. Couples seem to really get this location (they’ve rated it 9.1), and I can see why — it feels authentic without being inconvenient.
Sleep Quality That Actually Delivers
Let me tell you about the beds here because, honestly, this is where Wawabed really shines. I’ve stayed in plenty of four-star places where the mattress feels like a brick, but these beds are genuinely comfortable — the kind where you actually sleep through the night. The room setup is smart too, with that aparthotel concept giving you more space than a typical hotel. You get a proper living area and a kitchenette, which means you can grab groceries and make coffee without hunting for an overpriced hotel cafe.
Practical Perks
The breakfast situation is actually pretty impressive — they’ve got continental options plus vegetarian and vegan choices, all buffet-style so you can take your time. But here’s what really sold me: free parking. In Warsaw, that’s not just convenient, it’s practically a miracle. You don’t realize how much stress that eliminates until you’re not circling blocks looking for a spot or calculating daily parking fees into your budget. The whole operation feels thoughtfully planned, like someone actually considered what travelers need rather than just what looks good in photos.
Why Guests Keep Coming Back
There’s something telling about the fact that this place has more repeat guests than most other properties — people don’t usually return to hotels unless they genuinely work. I think it’s the combination of getting proper space, sleeping well, and feeling like you’re staying somewhere with character rather than just passing through. The 8.5 rating feels right; it’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top, just solid and reliable with those little extras that make a difference. If you want to experience Warsaw like someone who actually lives there, rather than just checking tourist boxes, this aparthotel gets it right.

My husband agrees
Breakfast was amazing
What could be improved: On the booking website it said no lift to upper floors, but it should read NO LIFT. This scuppered our stay, as I thought any lift would help my husband's back, but carrying the cases up 3 floors meant he was in agony for our stay.
Exceptional
Very nice area, quiet, clean, good bed, great staff, great breakfast although a little pricey,5 minutes close to the local transportation.
Good experience
It was a positive experience. The zone where the Aparthotel is located is calm and silent. Well connected by buses. Moreover there is a supermarket very close where u can buy what you need for your staying. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very tasty, with possibilities to choose between a salty or a sweet breakfast. The receptionist was very kind, welcoming and was also speaking a perfect Italian language. I will definitely recommend.
Exceptional
Clean and well organized space.
Helpfull staff
Easy access to public transportation.
Exceptional
Nice vintage hotel in calm place. Its good for the people who wants to live outside the centre, close to market, parks and not far from university.
Exceptional
I liked all things in wawabed. Confortable room, nice breakfast and nice people. I hope to return again for some family time.
Love the pancakes for breakfast.
See you soon my friends!
Great
Good value for money. So quiet.
What could be improved: Nothing
Comfortable
I really liked the rooms. They looked great, were clean, had decent wifi connection, everything one needs to be comfortable. Although, I wish I had gotten to try their breakfast.
What could be improved: I thought the wifi connection in my room was a tad weak. Additionally, it was not clear to me what I had to do when I left the room so I kind of just left and hoped that that was what I had to do.
Good to stay for a night on a way home
The location is perfect, if you want to be outside the town and take a morning run.
What could be improved: Hotel offers self-chech-in but we didn't receive the message with the code for the room. Finally, we found a person who contacted the owner and let us into the room.
Quiet, clean, spacious rooms
The room was spacious and clean. Very quiet, comfortable. The neighbourhood is very nice. There are bus stops real close.
What could be improved: 30-40 minutes by bus to center
